How to Edit Pages In My Blogsite?

To edit EXISTING PAGES that I have already setup for you:
Go to the dashboard view of your blog and click the "Posting" tab. Typically the main pages in your navbar are setup using the "Pages" feature in blogger. The instructions immediately below are for pages setup using this feature:
1) Below you will see three blue links- Click on "Edit Pages" on the right.
2) Find the page you want to edit. They are usually titled (for example, "About Us"). Click on the "edit" link next to the post you want to edit. If it is not titled, look next to the little arrow by "View" and you will see the first sentence in the page that should let you see what page it is.
3) Add or remove whatever content you want.
4) Click publish and then select the far right option "No Gadget - Link Pages Manually"
5) Click "Save and Publish".
Note: If you DO NOT want the titles to show up on each individual page (for example, "About Us" will show up above your "about us" content on your website) simply delete the title from the post and click publish.

To ADD A NEW PAGE yourself using the PAGES method:
**Blogger only allows 10 pages per blog, so if you already have 10 pages, you can't add any more and will have to use the POST method below. Usually 10 pages is plenty, but I wanted to let you know just in case!

Click on "Add a Page".
2) Type in your content, etc.
3) Add or remove whatever content you want.
4) Click 'Publish Page' and then a new screen will pop up- select the far right option "No Gadget - Link Pages Manually"
5) Click "Save and Publish".

To ADD A NEW PAGE yourself using the POST method:
**This method should really only be used if you have used all 10 of your allowed 'pages'.

1) Click "Publish Post".
2) Add whatever content you want to the page but DO NOT hit publish yet!
3) THIS STEP IS SO IMPORTANT!!! Click on the little drop down link below your post edit area that says "Post Options" . It will expand an area that gives you some additional options for your post. Look for the 'Post date and time' fields. (If you are using the newer post editor you will need to move the radio button to "Scheduled At"). Change the year in the post date field to something old (for example, 10/12/2008).
-This step is important because if you do not 'backdate' your new post, it will show up on the home page of your website since this 'website' was basically created in a platform that was meant for blogging, this is how it is setup.
4) Click Publish Post!

Why would I want to add a new page?

You might need to add a new page to your site for a couple of reasons. First off, you may want to add additional main pages such as "About Me", "Contact Me", etc.

Secondly, there may be an informational page that you want to create that won't necessarily have a place in your main navbar, but will be linked from another page in your site. For example, if one of the titles in your main nav bar is "Packages" and a person clicks on the link, it will take them to a page that lists all of your packages offered. What if you want to go into detail on one of the packages? Well, you can simply create a new page (for example, "Details on Package A) and publish it (make sure it is backdated first). When you click publish, then you will want to click "View Post" and copy the link to the post. Now go back to the page that talks about all of your packagages offered and hotlink a word or sentence to this new page that is detailing "Package A" (for example, "Click here for details on Package A").
