***If you are using INTERNET EXPLORER for your web browser, you might have some trouble doing this for some weird reason. This is why Mozilla Firefox is a better web browser. You can download it for free HERE and I highly recommend that you do so. Firefox is safer, faster, and an all around better web browser***
1) First go to the dashboard view of your blog. Find the html/java widget in your sidebar and click the edit button as pictured below (yours might not be titled "connect")
A separate window will open. Follow the steps below:
**First make sure you are in the rich text view- NOT the html view. When the window first pops open you may see something similar to the screen below with a bunch of text. Click the little link in the upper right hand corner that says "Rich Text" and it will switch you to the correct view (where you can see all of the icons)- then follow the steps below.**
**ILLUSTRATED INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN THE IMAGE BELOW**
1) Click the button you want to link. It will get a little frame with squares around it. In some browsers you might have to drag your mouse over it to highlight it.
2) Click the little link icon in the top right corner.
3) Paste your url/link in the field and click "OK".
4) Repeat for each button and then click "SAVE".
**Note: To get your RSS Feed button link if you don't already have it you will probably need to go to feedburner.com while you are logged into your blogger account. You should be able to find it there.
5) **FOR THE EMAIL BUTTON** This link/url is a little different from the others. To link to your email address, all you have to do is delete the "http://" text in the field and then copy and paste the blue text below in place of it (obviously you will replace "YOUREMAIL@EMAIL.COM" with your own email address).
