- Any website or blog
- Your Facebook or Twitter page
- A post from your blog
- Your email address
- A label/category from your blog
- The "Pages" feature in blogger (this is what I recommend if you want stand-alone pages such as "about me")
I will explain each item below in a little more detail.
Any website or blog
To link to any website or blog, simply copy the url link from your browser window and paste it into the correct spot (as shown in my instructions) in your navbar. You can also type the full url, if you know it, into the correct spot.
Your Facebook or Twitter page
This works the same way as the links described above. Simply copy and paste the url/link of your twitter or facebook page into the correct spot (as shown in my instructions) in your navbar.
A post from your blog
If you have a post that you would like to link in your navbar, all you have to do is click on the actual title of the post from your blog. Each post has its own individual url/link, so when you click on the title, that url/link will show up in your browser window url bar. Simply copy this link and then paste it into the correct spot (as shown in my instructions) in your navbar.

A label/category from your blog
Blogger has a nifty "labels" feature. They can also be called "categories". In my instructions I use the term labels and categories interchangeably. Basically, it is a way to categorize your posts if you wish to utilize it. You can add the actual "labels" gadget from the gadget menu to your sidebar or footer and it will automatically list all of the labels/categories that you have used to label your posts. Your readers will be able to click on whatever category they want and it will pull up all of the posts labeled with that category.
This can be a great tool to use in your navbar. For example, if you are a photographer and you want your navbar to have "Home, Babies, Children, Seniors, Headshots, Pricing" you could label all of your images that have babies in them with "babies" as pictured below.

Once you publish your post, you will be able to obtain the url/link that will bring up ALL of your posts with the label of "babies". You can do this by scrolling to the bottom of the post and clicking on the word 'babies' as pictured below. You will notice it is a link and when you click on it, all of your posts with this particular label are visible.

You will also notice that in your web browser's url bar, there is a link that now has this particular label in it. You can see an example below circled in red. To use this feature in your navbar, copy the ENTIRE url from your web browser and then paste it in the correct spot in your navbar code (per my instructions). Now repeat for your other categories.

The "Pages" feature in blogger
Blogger recently released a "Pages" feature that is amazing! It allows you to create up to 10 'stand-alone' pages. For example- if you are a photographer, you might want to create an "About Me", "Investment", "Contact Me", and "FAQ" page to go in your navbar. To do this simply follow the instructions and visual examples below.
Go to your blog's main dashboard.
1) Click on the "Posting" tab
2) Click on "Edit Pages"
3) Click on "New Page"

| Click on "View Page". Now you will need to copy the url from your browser window (pictured below) and that is what you will paste into the correct slot in your navbar (as per my instructions). |
